Deaf Crafters Challenge, February 3, 2016

Time for another Deaf Crafters Challenge!

I chose Mojo Monday Sketch #432 and made a birthday card.

I used the A*Muse stamp sets: Mason Jars for the mason jar and lid, Shine Bright for the two diamonds, the flowers from Simple Swirls, the frosting and cherry from Hey Cupcake; Copics were used for the coloring in the flowers, leaves, frosting, jar lid and cherry.  I used A Wink of Stella in the diamonds for sparkle, and the washi tape came from an earlier collection.

All of the stamp sets are available through my website,

Thanks for looking!

On January 13th, I went to Party on Broadway in Alton, IL, and came away with this project.  We were given letters and scrapbook paper - we got to choose our own paper.  I had gotten the papers trimmed and mod podged on the letters that day.

On Monday the 25th, I finally finished this - used A*S Onyx ink and a black Sharpie marker on the edges of all the letters, then put on in this order: Mod Podge Hard Coat, Sparkle (2 times) and Super Gloss.  I then tied the letters together with twine and put a purple bow on top.  Just in time for Valentine's Day!!!

Deaf Crafters DT - Sketch Challenge

As you know, I am part of the DeafCrafters Design Team, and we will be having one sketch challenge and one anything goes post every month.  I am looking so forward to doing this again - it has been quite a while!

I chose the tickets and brochure from our Silver Dollar City outing last summer for my scrapbook sketch page.

I used:

Bubblegum Buttons
Winter Sky
Both the On Broadway Alphabet and Chevron stamps are retired.

You can find the paper, buttons and washi tape on
